Rituxin, vincristine, doxorubicin, cytoxin and prednisone. Neulasta. Wicked bad side effects for first week following treatment.

Read, read, and read. And ask as many questions as you want of your docs.

Tips for others on how to deal with the mental struggles of chemo/cancer:
Keep busy and try not to dwell on them. Go about your life as if you haven't the time for it and you wont get consumed by it.

Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Symptoms:

None. Had my first colonoscopy and a tiny polyp was found to be positive for DLBCL. Polyp was removed, but I am undergoing three rounds of R-CHOP.

Polyp removed during colonoscopy.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects:

RCHOP 21. Three rounds total. 11/2/0, 11/23/10, and 12/14/10. Worst effects so far: heartburn to point of esophageal spasms, constipation, headache, mouth tenderness and dryness, fatigue and hair loss.
